The Orbit team do not deliver skills training in a vacuum. We pride ourselves on developing a close partnership with our clients, working with you to bring about meaningful and sustained change in your sales operation. We will hold regular programme learning groups with senior sponsors of the programme to discuss progress, guide the programme, and review what we are all learning. Inevitably as part of this we may jointly identify barriers to sales success that may be emerging and we can together identify the best way to deal with these, so you are able to gain the best results from the programme.

Common issues might include:

  • Making sure the sales people understand clearly what they are able to sell: we can help developing compelling propositions, develop sales literature, and consultancy and project management methodology
  • Making sure sales people have all the support and back up they need: we can help set up lead generation and call centres as part of your sales mix - either internally or as an outsourced service
  • Making sure expectations, roles and responsibilities are clear and you're your compensation, incentives are encouraging the right behaviour in your team. Defining and implementing competency frameworks to focus your development programmes. Reviewing your performance management and people development processes to makethem more effective and 'joined up'
  • Providing interim sales management resources where required
